It's Taco Tuesday! Time to get festive.
Take your tacos to the next level by adding our Wild Porcini Mushroom salt. Ditch the taco seasoning packets! This salt is versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes, but one of our favorite foods to pair it with is red meat. Flavorful and aromatic, it will give your tacos the tasteful onion and mushroom dynamic duo - because who doesn't love that combination? Give the recipe below a try and let us know what you think!
Package of flour tortillas
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the flour tortillas in a sheet of aluminum foil and place it in the oven to warm up while you're preparing the other ingredients. Grab the onion and finely chop it into small cubes. Put it in your pan with a splash of olive oil and let simmer until the onions are transparent. Next, place the hamburger meat into the pan and let it brown. When it's almost done, add in the Wild Porcini Mushroom sea salt, the chili powder, cumin, sugar and vinegar.
Next, carefully take the flour tortillas out of the oven and place on a plate. Put the taco meat on the tortilla first, then put the cheese on top so it's perfectly melted. Then, put your desired greens on top, hot sauce, sriracha - or whatever suits your fancy! Finally, top with a few grains of our Wild Porcini Mushroom sea salt.
